Danielle Ryan, a class of 2021 graduate of the Denver College of Nursing, recently received the prestigious Diseases Attacking the Immune System (DAISY) Award for extraordinary nurses. “The DAISY Award is an international recognition program that recognizes registered nurses who exemplify nursing values by exhibiting extraordinary compassion, courage and integrity in every situation,” states a news release. It is one of the highest honors a hospital nurse can receive, the news release states. Ryan is a resident of the Denver Tech Center and currently works at Denver’s Rose Medical Center.
