COLORCON features all-female lineup

The second annual COLORCON will take place this year on Aug. 28 in the alleyway behind 1112 Broadway. This year will feature a lineup of 13 Colorado female artists.

COLORCON debuted in 2019 and is an annual mural event hosted by the Golden Triangle Creative District in partnership with local businesses. Its purpose is to “reimagine alleyways as iconic destinations,” states a news release.

It is free to attend COLORCON, but this year, special ticketing arrangements have been made to keep the event socially distanced. Attendees must reserve a ticket for a time slot on the event’s website: Attendees and artists will also be required to wear face masks for the duration of the event.

A full list of this year’s participating artists can also be found on the event’s website. Here is a sneak peek at what a few of them have to say about the event.
